KNOWN is a pioneering, science-backed platform and mobile application designed to empower women to proactively live in sync with the four phases of their hormonal cycles: menstruation, follicular, ovulation, and luteal. It uncovers your unique pattern insights & connects you to your friends & partner (think Strava for your period). Effortlessly connects if you have a wearable device like Apple Watch, Whoop, Garmin, Oura, etc! Our mission is to provide proactive actions & education throughout the entire hormonal cycle, recognizing that menstruation represents less than 20% of the monthly cycle, while the remaining phases are equally influential yet often overlooked. Founded at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, we are led by a dedicated team committed to making cutting-edge hormonal health knowledge accessible to all women. The company emerged from the prestigious New Venture Challenge (NVC), recognized as one of the nation’s leading accelerator programs, and participated in Galvanizer, Stanford Business School’s renowned incubator for female founders.
